The Weeks of Winter in Midtown

Skyrise Living in the Weeks of Winter

The style of living people choose when they decide that skyrise living in the luxury condos of Atlantic Station is for them, is a blend of access, convenience, and opulence. This particular blend is original, energetic, and full of advantages. Let’s start with the style. Often described as a reference to art deco, the lines of Atlantic Station thrust irresistibly upward. They bring to mind the granite celebration that is Rockefeller Center. Yet, compared with art deco period buildings, Atlantic Station is reinvented with every up-to-the-minute asset.

High ceilings and generous windows fling open your sightlines to the best of Midtown below. Short winter days mean longer views of the sparkling skyline that Atlantic Station reveals. These views make a perfect backdrop for people to enjoy in the three- and four-bedroom condos here. It is luxury based on enjoyment rather than show. Here, people bask in the considerate kind of design that anticipates how people really want to live, the experiences they really want to enjoy in the course of daily life.

Lots to Do
The long nights and short days of winter barely prompt a pause in the vitality of Midtown that surrounds Atlantic Station. Here are just a couple examples, one for families, one just for grownups, and distinctly so.

The Hello Kitty Café Truck returns to Atlantic Station on February 22, offering kids of every age some sweet treats, apparel, and merchandise that’s, well, pretty pink. Trucks have been roaming the East and West Coasts since 2014, tempting fans and newcomers alike with sweets and memorabilia. Forbes Magazine reports that a permanent version just sprouted in Irvine, California, testifying to the charm and appeal of the concept. The bright pink panel truck will be positioned at Atlantic Station, on District Avenue, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

For adults with a different taste in mind, the Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival is February 29 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Atlantic Station Pinnacle Event Site, 241 20th St. NW. Sipping, eating, and socializing have gone so well that the festival is marking its 8th anniversary here this year.
