Celebrate the Holidays in West Midtown

Celebrate the Holidays in West Midtown

The energy and imagination at the heart of the exciting things happening on the Westside are even more in evidence with the approaching Holidays. The great thing about living in this complete neighborhood – where life, work, play and enrichment are all close at hand – is not only what’s right here at your doorstep, but also the exciting things within easy reach.

The new luxury, so beautifully exemplified in city living concepts like Atlantic Midtown, gains momentum constantly through visionary projects like The Works at Chattahoochee. In all, it’s a way of life aimed to please the whole person, and among the good things that comes with this design is being able to celebrate the Holidays without venturing far from home.

When Midtown Becomes Santa Claus Lane

From your vantage point in West Midtown, it’s easy to get to the Children’s Christmas Parade in time for a good viewing spot. Easily the largest Christmas parade in the Southeast, the array of floats, balloons, marching bands, and performances is exciting to behold. And the holiday spirit all around is contagious – the feeling of just being there is a big part of why people go. This year the Children’s Christmas Parade is 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, December 2.

One way to crank up your enjoyment of the parade even further is by signing up for one of the breakfasts hosted by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the organizer and beneficiary of the Children’s Christmas Parade since 1981. Although their Breakfast with Santa is sold out already for this year, there are still tickets available for their Smiles of the Season breakfast at Colony Square.

The season of giving has always been public spirited in Atlanta, and a charitable event or two is part of the plan for many of us. This certainly is one you may want to consider.

Tinsel & Twine – Provisions of All Kinds

The Westside Provisions District, along Howell Mill Road, is the attractive, eclectic home to all kinds of holiday fun, including the annual celebration Tinsel & Twine on Saturday, December 12. You can browse the Provisions District stores or enjoy pop-up seasonal shops, listen to carolers, and sip hot chocolate. This neighborhood is determined not to be out-Holidayed by anybody, and they go about it in a way that’s cool and contemporary.

We join the special Atlanta flavor of the Holidays as the Atlanta leader in condos for sale in Midtown Atlanta and condos at Atlantic Station. The pulse of this great city at any time of year is our work and our fascination. If you’re considering a move here, whether a single-family home or an Atlanta condo, we would love to help!
